Received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from St. Andrew's University and was a post-doctoral research fellow in neuropharmacology at the University of Oxford.
Andy started his career in the city with Smith NewCourt, in 1995, after which he co-founded Reabourne Ltd, an investment management business focused on small capitalization technology and biotechnology companies. He left Reabourne in 2003 following the sale of the business, and currently works as a consultant in the biotechnology field. He holds a number of non-executive directorships with life-science companies. In 2009 Andrew co-founded mAb designs with Dr John Wijdenes and is currently Manging Director.
Prof. John Wijdenes is a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of mAb designs Ltd. John received his Doctorate in Biology from the Free University of Amsterdam in 1981. He joined Schering-Plough in France as Senior Scientist and head of the Immunochemistry and Monoclonal Antibody Laboratories. In 1986 he moved to the Etablissement Francais du Sang in Besancon, France. In 1988 John established Diaclone SAS. John left Diaclone in 2010 but continues to consult with pharmaceutical companies as an expert in the selection, application and patent positioning of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. John has published >100 articles describing antibodies from as early as 1988 and has written extensively about inflammatory pathways, including IL6 activation since 1990.

Anne Marieke started her career as a sales executive for Roche and 3M Pharma after she finished her Biology degree at the University of Utrecht in 1993, with a specialty in endocrinology. In 1998 she moved to the City of London to become a fund manager focused on healthcare stocks. She worked for Threadneedle, Credit Suisse, ING as well as Amundi before she became a coach and advisor to start up companies in the healthcare field and beyond in 2019. She holds several non-executive roles with a wide range of healthcare companies, and is a coach for the Barclays Scale up Program with Cambridge Judge business school as well as with Sixth Sense, the Hexagon Intelligence manufacturing partnership challenge.
